MINOLTA PHOTOGRAPHERS 9 months, 2 weeks agoI have just bought a Maxxum 7 (Dynax 7) and loving it. The camera handles extremely well and the controls are very intuitive. The AF is brilliant.

Hi.
I am an Minolta shooter and have an x700, 7000 and 7000i and have had the Dynax 7 as well.
The Dynax 9 is as far as I know a very very good camera. But it will not accept SSM lenses. There is a however a way around this if it should be a problem, but it´s unfortunately not straight forward.

I have a SRT101 with a 50mm f1.7 MC Rokkor and it is the favorite of my 35mm cameras. The Odd think is though it has a 57mm screw thread and I can’t find an adapter for my Cokin filters. I have just ordered an M42 to Minolta adapter to use some old ziess glass on it – since my praktica has now died.-
That brings me back to my old days with a Praktica LLC….Jeez, I’m getting old!

Have you checked e-bay? There are tons of Alpha mount lenses there at all possible prices
