For lovers of all things panoramic.
There are so many ways to make panoramic images… Cropped 35mm, specialist panoramic cameras such as the XPan or Linhof Technorama, Panoramic 35mm backs for 120 film cameras such as the Bronica SQA system. Then there are the different formats – 2:1 or 3:1. Love to see some discussion here on the challenges of making panoramic images – and of course show your triumphs!
Hopefully you will not find any stitched digital images here!

Removing Colour Casts – Colour Correction by the numbers! (1 post)

    So many of the images on this site exhibit wicked colour casts. The original images may require correction, or perhaps the casts are as a result of poorly calibrated scanning equipment.
    This problem is easily fixed by using a Jessops Gray card and including it in your shot at each change of location. This image is then scanned and a 5×5 sample used to do a Colour balance adjustment layer in Photoshop. This is an objective tool to remove colour casts and does not rely on the user having a calibrated work environment. Contact me for more info…
