Used my Zeiss Ikon with my Distagon 18mm, Biogon 35mm and Sonnar 85mm lenses. Film of choice? Fuji Superia X-tra 400. Just love this time of year.

What a fab lens. The Zeiss viewfinder I acquired with it (both lens and finder are used but in lovely condition) is beautifully made, bright, clear and distortion free and am I really impressed by it. There are some real used bargains out there if you know where to look. The lens is typically Zeis being sharp, distortion free and rendering great colours with the famous Zeiss 'pop'. As you may guess from these witterings I am rather taken with my new friend. Nice!

I took LEICA M2 for B&W and M6 for colour negative as I thought I would not need a vast array of SLR gear with extreme lenses, and I was correct -- used mainly the 50m f2 Summicron and the 1966 Canadian 35mm f1.4 Summilux. FILM was outdated FUJI REALA 100 I downrated it to 80 ASA -- for the flash photos 50 would have been better. Film was processed by SigFoto lab but I will do any enlargements myself on FUJI Crystal Archive RA4 Lustre paper in my 'NOVA' Unit -- pics here --
Very nice camera and really lovely lenses. I have also been trying out Fuji Superia 200 in place of my more usual 160C and really like it. I use it mostly for my work photographing heritage steam locomotives where the electronic focusing and high degree go automation in film loading, advance and rewind come into their own over my more usual manual rangefinder outfit.

Mind you, you can burn through film at an alarming rate if you are not careful especially if you use the four frames a second auto advance setting, not that Fuji will mind that :).
