    Hi vfrazz, there was a limit set on the server to 2MB, but I’ve extended this value to 5MB. So the maximum size of uploaded file is now 5MB. However I would recommend to take down the size of the file before uploading to something like 1MB.

    Hi Martin,
    I’ve just checked that and there were comments enabled on all of your images except of the one. It has been changed so there should be comments enabled on all photos in your album. Please note, that only registered members are able to add comments.

    Also in general, comments on images are disabled as default, so any member who wants other members to be able to comment on images needs to go to edit each image and set comments to ‘Enable’. Hope this helps.

    Interesting site with a lot of potential. :) The UI seems a bit foreign to me though!

    How come commenting on my photos keeps getting disabled? I enabled it when I uploaded some yesterday, but they showed up as disabled straight away so I enabled them again. Same thing happened again this morning.

    It could just be bad luck that I haven’t selected one that’s enabled, but I haven’t found a single photo I can comment on so far. Are there two tiers of user and my account is not one that can comment? I just looked at Martin’s gallery (above) and don’t have the option of commenting on any of his work.

    Also, with the random photos on the right hand side, when I click on the photo I am taken to the artists page and have to search their gallery to find the photo. Why doesn’t it take me directly to the photo? Or should I be clicking elsewhere?

    Sorry to seem so negative, I really like the idea you are going for with this site, but at the moment the user experience is very frustrating for me.

    First of all….a forum dedicated film shooters is a very neat idea :-)

    But I must say that the activity here is´nt very high. One reason might be that, as zzpza mention, almost
    none of the uploaded photos can be commented on.
    It could be that most people here deliberately has disabled the comment function, but I doubt that.
    I guess it´s more possible that people is´nt aware that you actively have to enable the comment
    function when uploading photos.
    I think it would be reasonable to conclude that the majority of people who submits photographs on a photo
    community want´s comments on their work. My point is that it might be an idea to enable the comment function by default :-)

    I must also agree on zzpza´s other point about the photos in the right hand side. It is inconvenient that clicking on them does´nt take you directly to the photo.

    Except for these minor flaws I am very happy to have found this community. I sure hope it will grow strong and very active.

    Hi Werner, thank you for posting the problem description again. I’ve taken closer look what might be causing it and actually found that just under certain circumstances, comments got disabled. I’ve upgraded the Album and issue seems to be fixed and everything seems to be working OK so far.

    We apologize for the inconvenience and will be greateful for any other feedback.
