UK Photographers 1 month agoSeems to me we’re all forgetting this Choose Film site, taking it for granted. On the other hand, I’m aware of some active meetup.com groups who, erm, meet up, to take photos and have a drink or meal or […]

UK Photographers 6 months, 1 week agoHave been GIVEN a 1970′s Asahi Pentax KX body and a Hanimex 75-300m f5.6 auto-Zoom lens by a Camera Club member — the aperture setting ring was not working but with a minute amount of Three-in-One oil it works again and I have been out taking some experimental shots with 1998 dated Fuji Super G 400 and outdated Kodak Tri-X I processed in Kodak…[Read more]

UK Photographers 6 months, 2 weeks agoInteresting idea, I’ve never heard of a pop-up darkroom, I’m gonna check this one out. I would think however that to make sizable enlargement you would need a considerable size tent. I could do little more […]

UK Photographers 6 months, 3 weeks agoHi all,
I was wondering on here is using a popup darkroom tent and can recommend a brand? I’m looking at doing enlargements at home and so thought this would be a sensible idea as I can’t make any room in the […]

UK Photographers 9 months agoIt’s strange the price of Fuji Reversal films has increased significantly only since Kodak ceased manufacturing slide film, and the company have the virtual monopoly.

It’s not entirely Fuji’s fault. Any business can only continue trading in a product that is actually selling in quantities that justify the expense of production and as Kodak has proved, if you don’t diversify into selling something people do want, you go bust. So, what next then? We who use film must promote it and shout aloud from the roof…[Read more]
