M42 clickers: 2 years, 4 months agoPerhaps take a look at the Pentax K or Spotmatic – I think they used M42 mount. Otherwise the Fujica ST cameras always had good reviews.
I can’t recall, but did the later Prakticas have an M42 thread? -

viewing in digital media: 2 years, 5 months agoAnother vote for the Epson V700. The results are excellent, but the supplied film holders are less impressive. I use the holders sold by Betterscanning.
