UK Photographers 3 months agoLatest free FILM Cameras ! I have been GIVEN a PENTAX MZ-5 and a MINOLTA DYNAX 500 si outfit !! Antique Chair restorer, Rolleicord Vb, Agfa RS200 film which had FADED badly to blue and I corrected in PhotoShop 7
Spinner on same camera and film. Fill-in flash.

M42 clickers 3 months, 2 weeks agoI had some outdated Kodak GPX 160 given to me — I found it needed to be rated at 50 ASA to flash – I used my 1960′s Asahi PENTAX SV with a 135mm f4 Carl Zeiss Jena lens I got for £1–00 in my Camera Club auction — Lighting was two 1980′s Bowens Monolites and I got f16 at the synch speed of 1/50th…[Read more]

Contax G 5 months agoBeen out shooting Portra 800 (rated at 1600) in some challenging low light conditions last weekend and wow what a lovely film with tremendous exposure latitude and beautiful colours. Contax G 5 months, 1 week agoI have been trying out Agfaphoto Vista Plus 400 as standard fodder for my Contax G2 System in comparison to Fujifilm Superia X-tra 400 and have concluded that:
a) Vista Plus 400 is most likely out of the Fujifilm stable just rebadged as Agfaphoto, though it is possibly not completely identical to Superia X-tra 400 being maybe a bit less contrasty…[Read more]

Rangefinder-Photography 6 months agoBeen out and about making photographs of the Autumn colour which is particularly good this year. Used my Zeiss Ikon with my Distagon 18mm, Biogon 35mm and Sonnar 85mm lenses. Film of choice? Fuji Superia X-tra 400. Just love this time of year.

Medium Format 120 6 months, 1 week agoI went out with some outdated 2001 Kodak Portra 400 NC rated at 200 ASA loaded into my 1060 Rolleiflex 2.8F Planar and got these Autumn Colours

UK Photographers 6 months, 1 week agosome 1987 outdated Kodak Vericlor III 220 size — i gave it extra 30 secs in teh C41 dev and rated fil at 40 ASA instead of 160 ASA — not bad !! – if you Do It Yourself you can alter dev times like this.
