For those who travel, and lets face it, most of us HATE getting our unprocessed film subjected to airport XRAY units more than necessary, we like to get our film processed ASAP rather than carry it all home. Next Workshop is 22-23 October at Myall Lakes NP
Lots of fun with Lakes, Sand dunes, beach and rain forest all within spitting distance.
Gray card will get a workout by all! Film sadly is optional! -

Medium Format 120 : 9 months agoMy advice is scan in RGB. Use a colour/gray target when shooting (one shot per location/lighting change is sufficient). Do your colour correction in Photoshop by the numbers. Finally export the image to Adobe RGB tiff and it’s ready for print. If you scan to jpeg, you are throwing 90% of the data away. If [...]

Medium Format 120 : 9 months agoMonitor calibration is essentially a waste of time unless you are using Quato, Eizo or Barco monitors. Please visit these manufacturers websites to find out why! My advise is for what it’s worth, leave Hue alone unless you shoot a gray card.

I am not sure I like the complete lack of detail in the foreground. Would love to see it shot with a 2 or 3 stop ND Grad to show some detail in the foreground.
