Hey FOLKS — ‘pentaxpete’ has joined the ‘MINOLTA CLUB’ as I have been GIVEN a DYNAX 500 si by a Camera Club member who had been given it — never had ‘MINOLTA’ before — the ‘Minolta -only’ flash hot show is ANNOYING — none of my flashes will go in !! Still cannot remember HOW to add the right BB code for this site !!

and the trouble is that there is NO provision for DELETING MISTAKES in posts on this site.

Latest free FILM Cameras ! I have been GIVEN a PENTAX MZ-5 and a MINOLTA DYNAX 500 si outfit !! I have tested them( after fitting new batteries!) and the lenses are sharp and TTL flash works OK — I used some 1998 outdated FUJI SUPER G 400 film I downrated to 100 ASA as it was old and processed myself in C41 .. I have been sent back another lot of my ’Hard Copy’ transparencies from my Agency all un-used as they want only DIGITAL now !!

Antique Chair restorer, Rolleicord Vb, Agfa RS200 film which had FADED badly to blue and I corrected in PhotoShop 7

Spinner on same camera and film. Fill-in flash.

Harry Everitt was a ’traditional Milkman’ in Doddinghurst, Essex, (England ) and I must have taken this in 1968-69 just after I got my Mamiya Press Super 23 camera — it was in the files of my Agency for many years un-used — now they have sent back all my ’Hard Copy’ transparencies — want only DIGITAL now !!! Kodak Ektachome film 120 size.

Never any REPLIES to ’Technical Help’ here — are all the Moderators on STRIKE or not interested ? Also, cannot contact them on the e-mail link — comes back that they do not have an account and the link is ’Unknown’ !

I have been putting on messages to try to contact you but no reply and no luck when I use the ‘Contact Us’ e-mail as it comes back as not known e-mail address !
I want to know how to delete a Post or at least to EDIT it when there are mistakes — there seems to be NO ‘Button’ to click on to do this .

Is there a ‘button’ or something where a poster can ‘DELETE’ or ‘EDIT’ a post if there are mistakes in it ?
I tried to upload some photos into a group from Flickr and ‘copied’ and ‘pasted’ the wrong BBCode thing and the photos did not appear only the ‘code’ from Flickr — I usually get it right but now I wanted to Edit the post and…[Read more]

Andrew — My Club Brentwood Photographic Club has also banned Real Film slides and allows only ’Projected Images’ which are always too bright on screen — I have to ’Digitalise’ my negs and slides and make them DARKER than on the computer so they project better — many members have LEFT the Club since the new ruling .

I went out with some outdated 2001 Kodak Portra 400 NC rated at 200 ASA loaded into my 1060 Rolleiflex 2.8F Planar and got these Autumn Colours

some 1987 outdated Kodak Vericlor III 220 size — i gave it extra 30 secs in teh C41 dev and rated fil at 40 ASA instead of 160 ASA — not bad !! – if you Do It Yourself you can alter dev times like this.
