Hi Simon. I can understand how you feel. Digital has a long way to go before it can match the subtleties of film-either colour or monochrome. I use to work in monochrome when I had my own darkroom which, unfortunately, since moving I no longer have the space. The lab. I use process the film in C41 process then scan and print digitally. Hi Simon. The image was taken with a large format field camera, an Ebony 45SU, using Fuji Pro160S Quickload colour negative film. Are you a large format film user? We seem to be a dying breed. I’m down in Kent I’m afraid. I’ve never had the privilege of trying large format, although I would love to have a go. Photography clubs round my way are fixated on digital photography and Adobe skills; I have no interest in either discipline, so don’t really fit in.
