However, the Impossible Project is clearly having trouble with stability and colour rendition with its SX-70 replacement. I have the V750 and I have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of scans I’ve had from both 35mm (negs and trannies) and 120 film. Thanks. I think I will look out for a V500 as the prices are much lower and I have a very good scanner (and expensive) for 35mm anyway (Nikon coolscan V). Not so long ago people scoffed at the idea of scanning film in a flatbed but things have obviously moved on.
