Our Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to online orders submitted by you to Fujifilm UK Limited for products available from “the shop” section of the http://choose-film.com, http://www.choose-film.co.uk and http://www.choose-film.com websites.

Prices, Postage & Packing

Our prices in “shopping cart” will detail the products ordered and their price, plus the UK postage cost. Local taxes will be calculated at “check out” stage. FUJIFILM UK Limited reserves the right to change products and prices published in “the shop” at any time.

Payment

Payment for products ordered online must be made by credit/debit card. FUJIFILM UK Limited cannot accept Electron cards. Products ordered shall not be despatched until authorisation of the credit card payment has been made.

Credit card security online

Using your credit card to make purchases via our web site is a secure way to pay for your items. We have put a number of security steps in place to give you, the customer, total confidence when purchasing your items via our website.

All sensitive information, including personal details as well as credit card information, is kept confidential through the use of our secure server software (SSL). This means that information can only be exchanged between you and Fujifilm, and that no third party can access this data. The padlock symbol on your browser ( ) shows which pages are covered by this security system.

All historical information regarding credit card, name, and address details is held on a secure computer. We do not retain live records of customer personal details or credit card information on our web servers after the transaction has been completed (i.e. you will need to enter your details each time you book over the Internet).

Accepting orders online

When you place an order online we will treat it as an offer to buy. We will send you a confirmation e-mail with your order number, at which point we make a legal contract with you. However, we will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will e-mail you as soon as we can to let you know.
When you order you will have an opportunity to check the details and correct any input errors.
In deciding whether to accept your order, we may use the information you have given to us, or we already hold about you, or which we receive from any enquiry we may make with our credit checking company to confirm your identity. The credit checking company will check any details we disclose to them against any database (public or private) to which they have access and will keep a record of that check. The credit checking company will also retain this information and may use it in the future to assist other companies with identity verification. This assists us to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions. If we decline your offer on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method.

Availability

While we endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, if we have insufficient stock to supply or deliver the goods ordered and paid for by you, we will notify you by e-mail within 48 hours. We may offer a substitute product, or refund you the price paid for such goods as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days.

Cancellation of Order

FUJIFILM UK Limited reserves the right to cancel any accepted order prior to delivery, at FUJIFILM UK Limited’s discretion (whether or not your credit card has already been charged), in case of any material errors in connection with your order, the price or other conditions published in “the shop” relevant for your order. If your credit card has already been charged and your order is cancelled, FUJIFILM UK Limited will immediately upon confirmation issue an appropriate credit to your credit card account.

Delivery

Orders processed online will be despatched from FUJIFILM UK Limited next day by Initial City Link courier service. This will result in an estimated delivery time from payment authorisation of 3 working days. FUJIFILM UK Limited accepts no liability for deliveries made outside of the terms and conditions for Initial City Link courier postal service.

Title of goods

Title of all products ordered passes to you upon the full payment or delivery of products. Risk of loss and damage pass to you upon delivery.

Returns

Your acceptance of the products occurs upon delivery of the products and will be presumed unless you notify FUJIFILM UK Limited on 01234 217724 within 7 working days after delivery that the products have been delivered are unusable or otherwise in a defective condition. If this occurs, please contact FUJIFILM UK Limited with your details whereby a returns label will be sent to you for an authorised return. FUJIFILM UK Limited shall either replace them or refund the amounts you paid for such products. FUJIFILM UK Limited may test products upon return and charge you any costs incurred by FUJIFILM UK Limited in case you wrongly claimed that returned products were unusable or defective.

Return of products purchased under a special offer or promotion may be subject to specific conditions.

Warranty

All products are covered by the FUJIFILM global limited warranty.

Protection of Personal Data

You agree that any personally identifiable information you provide to us in connection with “the shop” or “the check out” may be dealt with by FUJIFILM UK Limited in accordance with the terms specified in the FUJIFILM UK Limited Privacy Statement available at the bottom of the choose-film websites.
